The Challenge

Oceana is an international NGO that was opening new offices in Toronto and wished
to create an office environment that reflected the mission, values and purpose of the organization. Oceana had specific ergonomic needs and was committed to communicating
the spirt and sensibility of the organization through the design of their environment.

 

Design Process

• Worked closely with staff to address specific functional needs

• Developed a series of custom design features that integrated brand identity
  into the office design

• Developed a detailed construction and interior design package for tender

 

Installation

• Demolition of original office space

• New flooring, walls, glazed walls, kitchen and furniture

• New lighting and HVAC system

• Reception lobby and conference room with integrated interpretive design features

• Custom graphics and interpretive elements throughout office

Impact

Oceana’s Toronto offices has become an exhilarating work environment as well as a meeting place for funders, stakeholders and associates of Oceana. The look and feel fit with brand identity and is reflective of the spirit and inspiring mission of the international NGO.
